Outstanding Owls

Welcome to our class page! This is where we will share photos of our wonderful work, experiences and activities and show what outstanding owls we all are.

We are a class who work hard and follow the school values as well as demonstrating the TIGER learning traits too. Keep checking back to see what we have been up to!

World Book Day 2022

We have absolutely loved celebrating 25 years of World Book Day this year. The children enjoyed dressing up as some of their favourite characters, sharing their favourite stories, listening to some performance poetry, designing spells and potions like Harry Potter and so much more! Here are some of our wonderful memories of the day...

February 2022 - Matisse and Monet Art

The children have spent some time learning all about Matisse and Monet - two famous French artists. We have really enjoyed looking at their styles, the colours they favoured and the techniques they used. We spent time trying to replicate some of their art work and loved our final pieces!

Forest Schools!

We have had such an amazing few weeks outside in the rain and the mud! The children have learnt to work together in teams, listen to instructions and enjoy the outdoors. Look how much fun we had!

January 2022 - It Snowed!

Christmas!

We had a special visitor today, and it was so lovely to see him and sing Jingle Bells together!

We have also enjoyed the disco in the hall and had a few games of musical statues!

World Mental Health Day

As part of World Mental Day, we wore yellow accessories and spent some time discussing the importance of our emotions and how we deal with them. We enjoyed some video clips from the film 'Inside Out' and reflected on how we react to different situations and which emotions we show.

Stonehenge Artwork

The children thoroughly enjoyed making their sunrise and sunset Stonehenge pictures using oil pastels and collage skills. Don't they look wonderful?
